Tretiheal 0.1% Cream (Tretinoin/Isotretinoin) is a topical retinoid for managing mild-to-moderate acne, including steroid-induced breakouts, as well as improving skin texture, reducing hyperpigmentation, and promoting cellular turnover. Unlike oral Accutane (Isotretinoin), which works systemically and carries liver stress, topical tretinoin acts locally on the skin surface with minimal systemic absorption, making it suitable for longer-term use and milder acne presentations.
Why Steroid Users Need Tretinoin
Anabolic steroids, particularly androgenic compounds like Testosterone, Dianabol, and Trenbolone, stimulate sebaceous gland activity, increasing oil production and creating conditions for acne breakouts. For mild-to-moderate acne, topical tretinoin is the first-line treatment before escalating to oral Accutane. It accelerates skin cell turnover, prevents pore clogging, and reduces inflammation.
How to Use
- Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin at bedtime. Start every other night for 2 weeks to build tolerance, then increase to nightly
- Avoid sun exposure. Tretinoin increases photosensitivity. Use SPF 30+ daily
- Expect initial purging: acne may temporarily worsen in weeks 2-4 as the skin turns over faster. This is normal and resolves
- Full results: 8-12 weeks of consistent use
- Do not combine with: benzoyl peroxide (apply at different times of day) or other strong exfoliants
